Quinton Jay has 15 years of experience running both boutique and well-known wineries as well as in strategic consulting in the wine and finance industries.

Mr. Jay is responsible for sourcing and evaluating potential transactions, overseeing the performance of Bacchus portfolio wineries and managing the research, investment and marketing teams.

Most recently, Mr. Jay was Vice President, General Manager of Artesa Vineyards and Winery, managing all aspects of the 100,000 case ultra-premium brand. Previously, he was Managing Director of Bacchus Consulting Group, an independent winery consulting firm he founded in 2001, whose major clients included Beringer Blass Wines and Estates, Etude, Quintessa and Geyser Peak Wines. Prior to Bacchus Consulting, Mr. Jay was General Manager of Bonny Doon Vineyard.

Mr. Jay began his career in the beverage industry in brand management and strategic planning at Coca-Cola following his position as Associate Vice President in the corporate finance and investment banking division of Bank America.

Mr. Jay holds a Bachelor of Science degree from California State University at Long Beach and a Masters in Business Administration from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
