Tom Dugan is CEO of DeLille Cellars, a leading Washington winery and pioneer of Bordeaux style blends. DeLille was founded in 1992, and is currently the 3rd oldest winery in Woodinville. The winery consistently receives 90+ scores for each of its wines, and is one of the most acclaimed wineries in the United States.
Under Dugan’s leadership, the winery has expanded in size from approximately 14,000 cases to 30,000 cases, including significant capital development and vineyard acquisition. In 2018, DeLille launched an ambitious project to consolidate its operations at one location, repurposing the iconic and historic old Redhook brewery and constructing an expanded and world-class retail space. The brand’s iconic D2 wine, a Merlot dominant Bordeaux-style blend, can now be found in nearly every US state and in over ten countries.
Dugan is a firm believer in the unmatched quality and value of Washington wines. He joined DeLille as General Manager in 2014, and prior to DeLille consulted for Bacchus Capital Management. Tom joined Bacchus Capital in 2010, and was involved in evaluating and structuring many of firm’s investments. Before and concurrent with joining Bacchus, Tom was Vice President at Gordian Group, a leading independent investment bank specializing in complex and distressed financial advisory work. At Gordian, he managed and supported engagements with deal sizes ranging between from $10 million to $3 billion across a number of different industries.
Tom began his career with the Risk-Credit Infrastructure team at Barclays Commercial Bank in London.
Tom received a Bachelor of Arts degree, with honors, from Colorado College, and has a General Course certificate from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
